This process is for full-time Boston University students only. Completing the waiver activates your BUID for tap-access. This waiver will renew automatically each month as long as you are listed as a full-time student in our system.

Access to FitRec for new/incoming full-time students for FALL 2025 is granted beginning on August 23 or once BUID has been issued - whichever comes first. Must have BUID to enter starting September 15.

Starting June 1, 2025, all Primary and Spouse members on Monthly, 6-month, and Annual plans are expected to have card tap access via either a Terrier Card (BUID) or a FitRec ID card. Dependents who are 16 years of age or older are also expected to have a FitRec ID (dependents under 16 must check in and remain with a primary or spouse member on your account while in the building). Any monthly/6-month/Annual member failing to bring their Terrier Card or FitRec ID on multiple visits will need to purchase a new ID to continue to access the facility. Summer guests on plans 5-weeks or longer must also bring their FitRec ID and may be required to purchase a new one if lost or not shown on consecutive visits.

BU STUDENTS: BU Students must use their Terrier Card (BUID) in order to swipe into the building. We do not print FitRec IDs for BU Student primary members. Only purchase this for a spouse or dependent 16 years or older with membership on your account.

BU FAC/STAFF: Most full-time and benefited BU Fac/Staff primary members will use their Terrier Card (BUID) in order to swipe into the building. If you've lost your Terrier Card, or you are an affiliate group eligible for fac/staff membership who does not have a BUID) you will need to purchase a FitRec ID. Spouse or dependents 16 years or older with membership will need to purchase a FitRec ID.

BU ALUMNI/BU YOUNG ALUMNI: Purchase this if you no longer have your Terrier Card (BUID) (you do NOT need to purchase if you still have your Terrier Card). Purchase this for any spouse or dependent 16 years or older on your membership.

FRIENDS OF BU: Any primary or spouse member must purchase a FitRec ID. Dependent members 16 years or older on your membership must also purchase a FitRec ID.

SUMMER/WINTER GUEST: Only purchase this if you are purchasing a 1,2,3, or 4 week pass and would PREFER swipe access over checking in manually at the front desk at each visit. Summer Guest memberships of 5 weeks or longer do not need to purchase this as their initial ID cost is factored into their membership cost.

Private Aerial Dance lessons are a great way to improve your skills in a comfortable, relaxed setting and help you learn more quickly and effectively. Based on your current skill level, learning style and personal goals, a qualified instructor will customize the session to meet your individual needs. Whether you wish to focus on learning and perfecting technical skills, addressing alignment issues, rehabilitation and wellness goals, or to be coached for an upcoming event/performance, we can help you reach your goals. Sessions are 55 minutes in length. Discounted price for packages of 5 and 10 sessions.
