Description: Experience a sweeping sunset view from the peak of Mt. Watatic! This adventure will depart later in the afternoon, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the mountain as the sun sets behind the surrounding peaks, weather permitting. The hike down will be in the dark, so be prepared to navigate rocky terrain with the aid of headlamps. Bring your sense of adventure! Please note that itinerary changes may be necessary due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Clothing and equipment can be provided by BU Outdoor Programs upon request. Roundtrip transportation is provided from the BU Fitness and Recreation Center to the trip location.

Description: Enjoy an evening hike to the summit of Wachusett Mountain and take in sunset views from the peak. This hike departs later in the afternoon, allowing time to reach the summit before sunset. The return hike will take place after dark, so participants should be prepared to hike with headlamps on uneven, rocky trails. Dress for cooler evening temperatures and bring your sense of adventure! Please note that itinerary changes may be necessary due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
