In this class, the child will begin in the water with their parent and then progress to the parent on the side of the pool, and eventually off the deck and out of sight. The goal of this class is for the child to swim solely with the instructor(s) by the end of the session. Kicking both on front and back, “scooping arms”, and roll over breathing will be introduced.

This introduction to swimming class is for the new and inexperienced swimmer. Children work to become comfortable with back and front tummy floats and with submerging themselves underwater. The foundation of streamline will be introduced.

This level is for swimmers who are able to swim freestyle and backstroke over short distances and are now ready to learn side breathing for freestyle. This level is where students put it all together to make progress in the pool.

This class is for the nervous swimmer or the beginner. Children work to become comfortable with back and front tummy floats and with submerging themselves underwater. The foundation of streamline will be introduced. Please Note: This class is the equivalent of Frogs, but for an older age group.

This level is for swimmers who are confident in their freestyle and comfortable in the water. Swimmers will work on breathing to the side in freestyle and gaining proficiency in backstroke. This level will also teach butterfly and breaststroke kicks. Please note: this class is taught in the competition pool.

This level is for swimmers confident in their freestyle and backstroke and comfortable with butterfly and backstroke kicks. Swimmers will master bi-lateral breathing for freestyle, learn how to execute flip turns, sit-down dives, and learn proper butterfly and breaststroke technique. Please note: this class is taught in the competition pool.

Prerequisite: Graduate of Seals or Tiger Barbs
