Swim Club Prep - 120900

This class is designed for young swimmers, typically ages 8-16 who are new to competitive swimming. This group focuses on building a strong foundation in technique, endurance, and the fundamentals of competitive swimming in a fun and supportive environment. This group is ideal for swimmers ready to transition from lessons or recreational programs to a more structured and competitive setting. Practices are designed to challenge swimmers while keeping sessions engaging and balanced.

Please note that this group is separate from the Swim School program and is run in our Swim Club program.


Prerequisite: Sharks level or above; OR prerequisites listed below:

100 yard freestyle (able to breath on both sides)
50 yard backstroke
50 yard breaststroke
25 yard butterfly
Sit down and kneeling dives from the side of the pool
Somersault in the water

Swim Club Novice Group - 120950

This class is an introduction to competitive swimming for children ages 8-16. Through this program, swimmers will improve upon their endurance skills and techniques in each of the four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Swimmers will also be refining their starts and turns, learning quality and healthy training techniques, and good sportsmanship and community.

Prerequisites:

100 yard freestyle
100 yard backstroke
100 yard breaststroke
50 yard butterfly
100 IM continuous
Attempt racing starts and flipturns

Swim Club Senior Group - 120975

This class is designed for swimmers ages 12-17 who are passionate about taking their skills to the next level. This program offers an intensive, competitive swimming experience; participants will focus on technique refinement, strength and endurance training, race strategies, and a dryland component to build overall athleticism. This program is ideal for swimmers ready to commit to rigorous training both in and out of the water, as well as experiencing the excitement of competitive swimming.
Practice Schedule:

Mon & Wed: 6:00 – 8:00 pm (Dryland and Swim)
Tues & Thurs: 7:00 – 8:00 pm (Swim ONLY)

Prerequisites:

Prerequisites below; OR graduate of Novice Group

200 yard freestyle
150 yard backstroke
150 yard breaststroke
75 yard butterfly
100 IM continuous
Racing starts and flipturns
