Description: Lonesome Lake offers one of the most scenic winter hikes in New Hampshire. This hike offers a gradual climb through serene forest to the frozen shore of Lonesome Lake, where you’ll be rewarded with views of Franconia Ridge. Stop for a mid-hike warm-up in Lonesome Lake Hut, one of AMC’s historic White Mountain backcountry huts. Please note that itinerary changes may be necessary due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Clothing and equipment can be provided by BU Outdoor Programs upon request. Roundtrip transportation is provided from the BU Fitness and Recreation Center to the trip location.
