Contemporary/Modern, Intermediate
This class is for those with intermediate dance training be it in modern, contemporary, or another traditional style of dance. The course is an overview of concepts, theories, and vocabulary of Modern and Contemporary techniques, including Graham, Limon, Cunningham, release technique, contemporary floorwork, as well as Laban/Bartenieff movement analysis and somatic/improvisational approaches. We will work to create a fun and supportive environment to enhance learning.
