Sailing, Beginning

Participants will learn the fundamentals of small boat sailing, including steering and handling sails, boat rigging, and knot tying. Safe boating principles, and fundamentals regarding wind patterns will also be discussed.

Note that this class will meet twice for 4.5 hours each time.

In order to take the class, participants must sign a swim waiver attesting to swimming ability which will be emailed ahead of the first class.
