Prerequisite: At least one full year of aerial silks experience and the ability to invert from a climb. Students should be comfortable performing both straddle inversions and knee hooks in the air and have experience confidently performing several different types of drops.
This class is designed for experienced aerialists who are looking to develop their performance skills through choreography on aerial silks. Students will learn and practice choreographed sequences while exploring musicality, transitions, movement quality, and performance presence. The class will challenge students to combine their existing aerial skills into dynamic and expressive movement sequences while continuing to build strength, coordination, and confidence in the air.

Age Requirement: Students must be at least 17 years old or receive permission from the instructor prior to registration. Please email budance@bu.edu for more information.
Make-Ups & Missed Classes: We are under no obligation to accommodate all students for make-up classes or provide refunds for missed classes. We will make every effort to assist students who miss class due to special circumstances.
Membership: You must maintain your membership for the entire length of the class series in order to receive the member rate. If your membership changes during the series, you will be responsible for paying the remaining balance at the non-member rate.
Refund Policy: Refunds will only be provided if requested at least 7 days before the listed start date of the class, or in the case of a medical situation for which medical documentation is required.
University Closures: There will be no classes held on Indigenous Peoples’ Day (10/12) or during the University’s Thanksgiving Recess (11/25–11/27).
