    The caliper method is used to measure percent body fat and percent lean body weight. Individual guidelines on motivation and exercise are provided. Participants should come dressed in t-shirts and shorts and should refrain from exercising directly prior to being tested.

    SP1XWK - Sports Performance- 10 weeks 1x/week

    Athletes who are participating in their competitive seasons are challenged to maintain strength and conditioning levels while handling the demands of daily practice and competition. Our In-Season Strength Program provides athletes with the benefit of maintaining strength and preventing muscle imbalances, while offering a regime that complements their in-season sport one time per week. The In-Season Strength program includes

    • Active warm-ups to stimulate the body’s neuromuscular system, enhance flexibility, and improve balance
    • Explosive training utilizing plyometrics and Olympic-type lifting techniques
    • Movement training to assist the athlete in more efficiently meeting the demands of his or her sport by focusing on neuromuscular training (combining strength and balance)
    • Multi-joint, total-body strengthening using free weights
    • Core training to strengthen the torso’s stabilizing muscles
    • Agility drills to increase quickness and reaction abilities

Our goal is to increase each athlete’s strength, power, energy system resources, and flexibility, thereby resulting in players who are stronger, quicker, and at a lesser risk for injury. This program includes

    • Active warm-ups to stimulate the body’s neuromuscular system, enhance flexibility, and improve balance
    • Explosive training utilizing plyometrics and Olympic-type lifting techniques
    • Movement training to assist the athlete in more efficiently meeting the demands of his or her sport by focusing on neuromuscular training (combining strength and balance)
