    This three-hour class is for those currently certified in Healthcare Provider CPR or the equivalent. The class consists of a review of all adult, child, and infant CPR skills. Those who pass the written and practical exam receive a new two-year certification in Healthcare Provider CPR. Class fee does not include required text and resuscitation mask.

    The class will train students to provide care at large venues. Buildings such as a concert settings or arenas represent specific challenges for providers. This class will center on preparing students for specific emergencies such as intoxicated patrons and musculoskeletal injuries common to such locations.     Note: This continuing education course is designed primarily for BU EMS operations staff. The course is open to the general public, but objectives are centered on patient care at Boston University facilities.
