This class introduces girls and boys ages 3-4 to the fundamentals of dance in a lively, structured environment. The vocabulary draws from different dance styles and lays the foundation for further study. Your child will improve coordination, fitness, balance, and musicality. The class will include creative problem-solving activities that encourage students to create their own steps and explore their own style.
The concepts of ballet are presented using both traditional and creative approaches for children ages 4-7. Your child will develop his/her flexibility, balance, musicality and grace in a supportive and empowering atmosphere. Please have students bring ballet slippers and come with hair away from face. Costumes and dance outfits are fine. Socks can be too slippery. To keep the floor clean and safe, we ask that shoes worn outside not be worn in the studio.No class on November 25th for Thanksgiving break.
Children, ages 7-10, learn the basics of ballet technique and begin to develop their modern movement vocabulary. They will have fun working creatively and learning classical dance technique at an appropriate level. This class is great for students who have previously taken Pre-Ballet or a basic movement class.No class on November 25th for Thanksgiving break.
Most kids dream of flying; yours could actually do it. Sign up your child to learn aerial silks in a safe, supportive environment. This class builds flexibility, strength, and confidence. With an emphasis on learning both the acrobatic and dance vocabulary necessary to be an aerialist, your child will be ready to soar! Section 1 is for ages 8 – 10. Section 2 is for ages 11-14. No background in gymnastics or acrobatics is required.
We will have your kids swinging and tumbling while learning an exciting mix of aerials, acrobatics and other circus skills. They will work on the mats, low trapeze, aerial hoop, silk slings, and more! Sign up your child, ages 10 - 15, to learn aerial silks in a safe, supportive environment.
