Kids who are new to the game will learn all the basic strokes, scoring and regulations of play. More experienced players will refine their court sense and shot selection. Keeping it fun and safe for everyone is a strong component of our sessions. Drills and exercises to enhance consistency and address problem areas are followed by round-robin games. Participants should wear loose athletic clothing and non-marking sneakers. For ages 9-14.
For children just beginning to play, or those with limited experience, this is a great place to learn or review tennis fundamentals. Students will learn basic strokes and rules of the game, as well as building coordination and stamina in this upbeat, energetic class. Participants must provide their own tennis racquet. The class is composed of two groups based on age and experience. Recommended for ages 5-14.
For children who have tennis experience, this is the place to take the next step. Students will refine basic strokes, review rules of the game, and apply their skills to game play. The class is composed of two groups based on age and experience. Experienced players over 12 may be eligible to join the adult program.
