6-week session for 4-7 year-olds. This class introduces girls and boys to the fundamentals of dance in a lively, structured environment. The vocabulary draws from different dance styles and lays the foundation for further study. Your child will improve coordination, fitness, balance, and musicality. The class will include creative problem-solving activities that encourage students to create their own steps and explore their own style.
6-week session for 4-7 year-olds. The concepts of ballet are presented using both traditional and creative approaches. Your child will develop his/her flexibility, balance, musicality and grace in a supportive and empowering atmosphere.
Youth Aerial Dance for 7-11 year-olds. We'll have your kids swinging and tumbling while learning an exciting mix of aerials, acrobatics and other circus skills. In our small group classes, we'll work with your child's individual skill level and interest to build confidence and self-esteem while exploring fun and cool activities. They'll work on the mats, low trapeze, aerial hoop, silk slings, and more! No background in gymnastics or acrobatics is required. We'll help them develop their coordination, strength, flexibility and sense of play!
12-week session for 10-15 year-olds. Cross-listed with Aerial Dance Mixed Apparatus for adults. We'll have your kids swinging and tumbling while learning an exciting mix of aerials, acrobatics and other circus skills. They'll work on the mats, low trapeze, aerial hoop, silk slings, and more! This class builds flexibility, strength, and confidence. With an emphasis on learning both the acrobatic and dance vocabulary necessary to be an aerialist, your child will be ready to soar!No class on 3/7 for spring break. No class on 4/18. Last day of class will be 4/25.
