The February and April School Vacation Programs offer fun activities, such as swimming, rock climbing, arts & crafts, and sports. It is a great way for your child to enjoy their school vacation week with friends!This program is for children ages 5-7. Please note, all 5 year olds must be currently in Kindergarten.
The Terrier Vacation Program: General Sports offers sports, games, rock climbing & swimming and much more!This program is for youth ages 8-13.
This is a fun recreational camp program for children entering Kindergarten through entering grade four. Camp activities include swimming, sports, arts & crafts, field trips, rock climbing and much more!Your child will have a unique experience spending the summer developing new peer relationships and challenging themselves physically in our phenomenal facility by participating in activities such as swimming, rock climbing, and playing sports. Your child will have a blast with other campers and our awesome camp counselors and FitRec staff.The Camp Terrier: General Recreation option is for children in Kindergarten through entering grade 4 as of September 2018.
Our two week dance camps are for dancers of all levels who want to learn in a fun and supportive environment. Students will hone their technical dance skills, work with our teachers to create original choreography and improve their performance skills for the culminating dance concert on the final day in the BU Dance Theater. On the first day, a placement class will determine the campers experience and ability and we will be able to group our classes accordingly. Campers will have daily classes in Ballet, Modern, Yoga/stretch, and Jazz/Hip Hop. Our program includes special classes in other styles of dance, such as Zumba, West African, and Making Dances (composition). Recreational swim will be offered as a daily activity with other fun activities planned including time on the rock wall, make-up, and arts and crafts projects.The Camp Terrier: Dance Arts option is for ages 8-13.
Campers in the Sailing option will spend the majority of the afternoon on the beautiful Charles River. Spaces are limited. *Note: in order to participate, the camper must be a level 4 swimmer as recommended by the American Red Cross Standards, and as evaluated by our aquatics staff.The Camp Terrier: Sailing option is for ages 9-13.
This division of Camp Terrier includes two swim lessons and climbing lessons each day. The General Sports option has been created for those children who enjoy a variety of recreational sports.The Camp Terrier: General Sports option is for ages 8-13.
Campers will swim twice a day and sessions will include stroke technique work, refinement of starts and turns, and endurance training. Camp Terrier Rock Climbing is a camp section for older, more mature campers looking to expand their recreational activities into the great outdoors! The climbing wall is the home base of this camp, and participants will focus on indoor and outdoor activities that will teach them to be independent rock climbers and outdoor recreators.This camp has a focus on outdoor climbing and recreation, and campers should plan for 2-4 outdoor trips each week. Activities include climbing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and more.
