Climbing Fundamentals is designed to give new and novice climbers a foundation of skills which will allow them to recreate and improve independently.Learn all the skills necessary to pass the Top Rope Qualifier Test. Instruction will include rope management and climbing knots, belay technique, climbing commands, basic climbing movement, and safety procedures.
Movement and Technique is the perfect class for those looking to push themselves to a higher grade. Participants will learn exercises and techniques to improve balance, coordination, power and endurance.
Lead climbing is a type of climbing in which the climber attaches the rope to various forms of protection as they ascend the wall. The lead climbing class is intended to build on existing top roping skills and to prepare participants for this exciting and challenging type of rope climbing.
The Credit Class Continuation picks up where the PDP climbing classes left off. Participants will focus on building a mastery of lead climbing, lead belaying, anchor building, top rope anchors, self rescue, traditional anchors, gear purchasing advice, and a number of outdoor climbing trips to local crags.This class is intended for past participants of the PDP climbing course.
